Vishvam Foundation’s Women’s Health Awareness Program 2025 and Cervical Cancer Vaccination Drive

The Vishvam Foundation, in collaboration with Divine Petals, successfully organized a Women’s Health Awareness Program on 19th April 2025 at Nandagokula Convention Centre, Hassan. Held from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the event received overwhelming support from the local community, thanks to the visionary leadership of the foundation and the tireless efforts of its volunteers.

This impactful initiative aimed to educate and empower women by focusing on key areas of women’s health and holistic wellness. The core topics addressed included:• Cervical Cancer Awareness and Vaccination• Understanding Menopause and Mental Health• Nutrition for Women’s Health

These sessions were thoughtfully curated to address pressing concerns and offer practical solutions for better well-being.

The event featured insightful talks by esteemed medical professionals:• Dr. Rangalakshmi, Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, M.D. Lakshmi Nursing Home, Hassan• Dr. B A Vishalakshi, Consultant, CSI Redfern Memorial Hospital, Hassan• Dr. Chaitra Gowda, Senior Obstetrician, Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeon, Cloudnine Hospital, Bengaluru

Each expert shared vital information on preventive healthcare, early diagnosis, and treatment options, while actively engaging the audience in Q&A sessions.








One of the significant highlights was the free cervical cancer vaccination program for women aged 14 to 44, conducted in collaboration with a supporting NGO offering heavily discounted vaccines. This step marked a critical intervention in preventing permanent cervical cancer and safeguarding the long-term health of women.







The program also proudly included a donation of laptops to two incredibly promising individuals:• Azhar, a talented youth with skills in digital marketing and content creation, and• Chandana, a young woman currently pursuing her UPSC preparation.This act reflects Vishvam Foundation’s dedication to empowering youth with the right tools for growth and success.

Adding a holistic layer to the event, Sushma Kattaya conducted a rejuvenating yoga session for women. She demonstrated simple asanas and mudras—such as Malasana and Sarvangasana—that support flexibility, hormone balance, and stress relief. Her session reminded everyone that every woman’s body is unique, and maintaining physical and mental health is the foundation of strength and self-care.





A delicious lunch was served at 2 PM, creating an opportunity for attendees to connect with doctors, volunteers, and each other in a relaxed setting.




From managing logistics to supporting guests and ensuring the program ran smoothly, Vishvam Foundation’s volunteers were the silent heroes of the day. Their commitment and energy reflected the foundation’s core mission of education, empowerment, and community well-being.




This program stands as a powerful example of how community collaboration, expert guidance, and compassionate service can come together to create lasting impact. Vishvam Foundation remains committed to its vision of building a healthier, more informed society across Karnataka.
